Microarray Data for Feverfew Experiments Are Available for Download

NewsMicroarray data for research on feverfew have just been released. We've conducted gene expression profiling for feverfew treated THP-1 cells using Agilent 44k microarray. Three different preparations of feverfew (SFE, SRE, DeWE) were used. After 3 hours of treatment, RNAs were isolated from cells and samples were then subjected to microarray studies. For data downloading, please go to Data Download page.

Primer Data Available for Download

NewsPrimer set data for PCR/RT-PCR are available for download. Please go to the "Data Download" page. Many thanks to Danny Williams for collecting and verifying the data.
The collected primers are mainly from published literatures. These primers are also tested using NCBI ePCR and/or UCSC in silico PCR to check their specificity and the product size.

New Data Uploaded

NewsNew data have been uploaded. Please check out the 'Data Download' page. The data are gene expression profiles generated by Agilent 44k Whole Human Genome Microarray. Control genes are removed from the datasets. Experiments include measuring expression change of THP-1 cells treated with LPS/Ado/LA for 3h, Feverfew for 24h, Feverfew for 3h, Ganoderma for 24h, and Arnica for 24h compared with corresponding controls. Experimental detail available upon request.

Research Interests

NewsThe goal of our laboratory is to utilize a combination of molecular biology, Systems biology, microarrys, proteomics, and bioinformatics approaches to study the signaling pathways in human macrophages. In particular we are focusing on understanding the mechanisms that mediate pro/anti- inflammation and host-pathogen interaction.
