Microarray data for research on feverfew have just been released. We've conducted gene expression profiling for feverfew treated THP-1 cells using Agilent 44k microarray. Three different preparations of feverfew (SFE, SRE, DeWE) were used. After 3 hours of treatment, RNAs were isolated from cells and samples were then subjected to microarray studies. For data downloading, please go to Data Download page.

Primer set data for PCR/RT-PCR are available for download. Please go to the "Data Download" page. Many thanks to Danny Williams for collecting and verifying the data.
The collected primers are mainly from published literatures. These primers are also tested using NCBI ePCR and/or UCSC in silico PCR to check their specificity and the product size.

FeverfewFeverfew has been used as a home remedy for fever, headach, and arthritis. How feverfew affects the inflamatory pathway is one of our research interests.
THP-1 CellsHuman monocytic THP-1 cells from an acute monocytic leukemia patient (purchased from ATCC). The cell line is one of our model systems.
About Chen LabOur research centers on understanding how cells communicate, with a focus on signal transduction by human macrophages and the host-pathogen interaction. Part of a scanned image of a microarray
